OPTIONAL TOUR A – (Sunset on Board) Santorini Volcano Cruise – On SIC basis – 55 € pp
A peaceful romantic trip with the essence of a cruise to be unforgettable is the below excursion. It departs from the old port of Fira at 15:30 with a wooden sailing boat.
After a short trip of 10 minutes, it reaches the small port of Nea Kameni , where the active volcano is. Your time there is for about 1 hour and 15 minutes where you can walk up and visit this wild landscape with the different volcanic rocks and the active craters of the volcano , where there is still smoke coming out and keenly smells sulfur.
To continue , the boat will depart for the island of Palaia Kameni , where the hot springs are located. Inside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it constantly mixes with seawater. The boat stays for about 30 minutes , enough time since there is no beach , but you have to climb down a ladder of the boat into the sea and swim a distance of about 30 meters to the interior of the small bay , where the mud baths are. After swimming at the hot springs the boat will start a sail around the caldera where you can take magnificent pictures of the landscape and the houses that literally hang on the edge of the cliff , in combination with the beautiful colors of the sunset. On a wooden boat with sails , listening to nice music and enjoying a glass of local wine.
After the sunset the boat returns to the old port of Fira.

OPTIONAL TOUR B – Catamaran Sunset Cruise with BBQ on board – on Semiprivate basis – 160€ per person
Breakfast at the hotel and start the Catamaran sunset cruise. First stop: Volcanic Red beach for swimming and snorkeling for approximately 30 minutes. Second stop: White Beach and Mesa Pigadia for approximately 60 minutes where you can relax, swim or snorkel while we are preparing your BBQ on board. We continue sailing in the Aegean blue waters moving across to the Indian Rock & Venetian Lighthouse with cinematic landscapes ideal for photography and video. Third stop: Volcano and Hot Springs for approximately 30 minutes; enjoy a swim in the therapeutic waters. On the way back, soak up the dramatic views of the Caldera rim until we reach Ammoudi Bay, passing by the isles of St. Nicolas and St. Eftapedes on our final stop get bewitched by the stunning Oia Sunset watch the sun dip into the Aegean Sea.

Breakfast at the hotel and start a full-day guided tour of Santorini’s highlights. Visit the iconic blue-domed churches of Oia, admire the views from Profitis Ilias, and relax on the shores of Perissa Beach before some well-deserved wine tasting.
After pickup from your hotel, board the luxury coach and drive to Profitis Ilias, the highest point on the island. Take in an incredible panorama of the entire island of Santorini, and the stunning deep blue color of the Aegean Sea while learning about the island´s fascinating volcanic history.
Wander around the courtyard of the 18th-century monastery that sits on top of the mountain. Then visit the Saint Nektarios chapel and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings.
Continue to the village of Pyrgos, a hidden gem of Santorini. Wander through its winding alleys and immerse yourself in its traditional atmosphere. See typical houses, blue-domed churches, and quaint shops. Walk up to its imposing castle for beautiful vistas of the surrounding area.
The next stop is Emporio, where you will join a guided walk and visit the small Venetian fortress. Feel like you’re on the set of Mamma Mia as you discover the many doorways, windows, alleys, and arches of this picturesque medieval village.
Continue to Perissa Beach, also known as Black Beach. Here, there will be plenty of free time to go swimming in the sea or have lunch (not included) at one of the Greek tavernas facing the beach.
Take the opportunity to taste local Santorinian wine, one of the most famous products of the island. Learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a private wine tasting session of 3 wines made of local grape varieties.
In the early evening, arrive at the cliff-top village of Oia with its famous blue-domed churches. Once at the bustling castle area, enjoy some free time to take some photos, shop, or have a relaxing drink.(not included) Finally, watch an incredible sunset before meeting up with your coach at the parking lot. Board the bus for a relaxing evening journey with drop-off back at your hotel.
