Day 1: Arrival in Faro

Arrival in Faro. Meet & Greet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for check in.

Tour of Albufeira & Lagos 7 hours

Tour of Albufeira area & Lagos, where you will visit the city center, with all the shops. Next we are heading to the Praia da Cordoama with an amazing rock formation on top of the sea, where you can explore the area and take some beautiful photos. From here we will to go visit Cabo São Vicente in Sagres, this is the most southwesterly point in Continental Europe and was once considered the end of the world. Admire Europe’s most powerful lighthouse and visit the Fortaleza de Sagres, a crucial military monument in the time of the discoveries due to its privileged position to control the coast. Return to hotel.

Overnight Faro.

Breakfast at the hotel. This full-day trip around the finest of the east in the Algarve. Get started with the pickup in the hotels or meeting point in the Albufeira area and heading to the city of Faro. This is our first stop in the beautiful capital of the Algarve. Visit the Old town in FARO with spare time for shopping at the shops in the downtown. Next we will be heading to the city of Olhão, where you can visit the market of Olhão, which is the most famous market in the Algarve. Explore the Moorish fishing town of Olhão, with its bustling streets and shops.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport of Faro for our flight to Porto. On arrival transfer to hotel for check in.

Learn about the history of Porto as you walk along its medieval streets on a 3-hour guided tour. Discover its most important buildings, visiting monuments dating from the 12th to the 19th century. Admire the Cathedral, Clérigos Church, the São Bento railway station, Aliados Avenue, the Bolhão Market, the Carmo and Carmelitas church, the Lello bookshop and others. See the wooden rabelo boats that have been used for centuries to transport people and goods along the Douro River. Marvel at the interior of the Lello bookshop, often called the most beautiful library in the world.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the train station for your train to Lisbon.

On arrival transfer to the hotel for check in.

Breakfast in the hotel. See the Jeronimo’s Monastery which houses Vasco da Gama’s tomb. See impressive sites like Rossio Square, Commercio Square, Marques de Pombal Square, Belem tower, The discoveries monument and much more.

Overnight Lisbon.

After a buffet breakfast. Today we visit Sintra – Portugal’s fairytale town on the edge of Europe.  On arrival, proceed on a guided tour with a visit to Palacio Nacional de Sintra. Marvel at the elements of Gothic, Mudejar, Manueline and Renaissance architecture, the wonderful azulejos (colored glazed tiles) from the 15th and 16th Centuries in various halls and patios, and in the Royal Chapel.

After a buffet breakfast, Transfer to the airport for your flight back.
