Overview

Embark on a spiritual journey to three of the world’s most sacred Marian pilgrimage sites: Fatima, Lourdes, and Medjugorje. Follow in the footsteps of Saint Bernadette in Lourdes, where the Virgin Mary appeared 18 times, experience the divine grace of Fatima, where Our Lady revealed her message to the three shepherd children, and immerse yourself in the peaceful sanctuary of Medjugorje, a place of prayer and reflection.

Itinerary

Day 1: Sunday, 09 May - Lisbon – Santarém – Fatima

Scheduled arrival at Lisbon Airport at 09:55. Meet and welcome by your accompanying guide.

Travel to Santarém to discover the 13th-century Eucharistic Miracle. Private Mass and Adoration, followed by lunch.

Continue by coach to Fatima and check in at the hotel. After some time to rest, begin your visit of the Sanctuary of Fatima, starting with the Chapel of the Apparitions, followed by the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the first basilica built at the sanctuary and home to the tombs of the three shepherd children: Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia.

Mass in one of the chapels, followed by return to the hotel.

Dinner, Marian vigil and candlelight procession. Overnight in Fatima.

Meditation along the Way of the Cross, following the path towards Aljustrel, the birthplace of the three young visionaries.

Visit their childhood homes and learn about the apparitions of the Angel, which took place one year before the apparitions of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Visit the museum housing the precious crown of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, displayed during major celebrations.

Excursion to Santarém to discover its 13th-century Eucharistic Miracle.

Visit the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity, whose significance relates to the teachings given by the Angel during his apparitions to the children.

Free time for personal prayer and devotions.

Rosary at the Chapel of the Apparitions, followed by Mass.

Dinner, Marian vigil and candlelight procession. Overnight in Fatima.

Morning transfer to Lisbon Airport for the flight to Bordeaux or Toulouse.

Upon arrival, transfer by coach to Lourdes and check in at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Two full days in Lourdes to discover or rediscover one of the world’s most renowned Marian pilgrimage sanctuaries.

Visit places associated with the life of Saint Bernadette Soubirous and learn about the meaning of the 18 apparitions of the Virgin Mary, who revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception.

Participate in the Sanctuary’s prayer programme, including:

  • Daily Mass
  • Meditated Rosary at the Grotto of the Apparitions
  • Eucharistic Procession
  • Procession of the Sick
  • Evening Marian Vigil and Candlelight Procession

Transfer from Lourdes to Bordeaux Airport for the flight to Dubrovnik.

Upon arrival, continue by coach to Medjugorje.

Check in at the hotel/family-run guesthouse, followed by an introduction to the Sanctuary and participation in the evening prayer programme.

Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.

Four full days in Medjugorje, discovering this important place of pilgrimage and prayer associated with the apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

Visit the Sanctuary and the various sites developed by the Franciscans to welcome millions of pilgrims from around the world.

The programme includes:

  • Climb to Apparition Hill
  • Climb Krizevac – Cross Mountain

  • Daily Mass for French-speaking pilgrims
  • Explanations from your guide about the messages and history of Medjugorje
