Itinerary

Day 1: 01 May - SATURDAY

Departure from Mauritius – Welcome to the land of Pharaohs

Your adventure begins as you depart Mauritius on your direct flight to Istanbul.

  • 08:20 – Departure from Mauritius.
  • 16:45 – Arrival at Istanbul Airport.
  • 18:25 – Departure from Istanbul Airport
  • 20:50 – Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrive at Cairo International Airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure to relax and prepare for the journey ahead.

Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx & Khan El Khalili

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting the legendary Pyramids of Giza and the magnificent Great Sphinx.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the colourful lanes of Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Continue with visits to papyrus and perfume shops, followed by dinner at a seafood restaurant.

Overnight in Cairo.

Cairo to Luxor & Nile Cruise

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, transfer to your Nile cruise and check in before lunch.

Later, explore the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

Dinner and overnight aboard the cruise in Luxor.

Luxor West Bank & Sailing to Edfu

An optional early-morning hot-air balloon ride is available.

After breakfast, visit the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return to the cruise for lunch and sail towards Edfu through Esna. Enjoy tea on the sundeck, followed by a cocktail gathering and dinner.

Overnight in Edfu.

Edfu & Kom Ombo

After breakfast, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Edfu. Return to the cruise and sail towards Kom Ombo, with lunch and tea served on board.

Visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, then continue sailing to Aswan.

Enjoy dinner and a traditional Galabeya party.

Overnight in Aswan.

Aswan

An optional early-morning excursion to Abu Simbel is available.

After breakfast, explore Aswan’s highlights, including the High Dam and the beautiful Philae Temple. Return to the cruise for lunch.

An optional visit to a Nubian village is available in the afternoon.

Dinner is followed by a Nubian show on board.

Overnight in Aswan.

Aswan to Cairo & Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum.

Dinner will be served before transferring to your Cairo hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Old Cairo & Departure for Istanbul

After breakfast, check out and visit Old Cairo, including three historic churches. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Khan El Khalili Bazaar for some final exploration and shopping.

Transfer to Cairo Airport for departure.

21:45 – Departure from Cairo.

00:45 – Arrival at Istanbul Airport.

Arrive in Istanbul and enjoy a transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Istanbul Old City Tour

Breakfast at hotel.

Discover the historic heart of Istanbul during a private half-day guided tour of the Old City. Explore the city’s fascinating heritage, architecture and atmosphere during this four-hour experience. The remainder of the day is free.

Day at leisure – Bosphorus Dinner Cruise

Breakfast at hotel.

Enjoy your last day at leisure. In the evening, join a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise with shared transfers. Admire Istanbul’s illuminated skyline while cruising between Europe and Asia, accompanied by dinner and onboard entertainment.

23:00 – Check out from hotel

02:15 – Departure from Istanbul Airport.

12:45 – Arrival in Mauritius
